HYDERABAD: Tollywood has reacted sharply to the rape and murder of a six-year-old girl in Saidabad in the city. The crime took place on September 9 and police are looking out for the suspect.

Jana Sena Party leader and actor Pawan Kalyan also went to console the family. But, he could not go to the house of the girl’s family because of the huge rush of fans who gathered there. Instead, the family members were brought to his car where he was waiting and then he spoke to them.
“The government should reach out to the family,” he said. “I understand the authorities did not take immediate measures to trace the girl,” Pawan Kalyan said. “We will take up the issue until justice is done,” he said asking people to shed political differences and see that the family was comforted.
Actor Manchu Manoj, who visited the grieving family of the girl on September 14, asked the public to help police nab the suspect. “In a way, every one of us should be held responsible for the general atmosphere that has been created. We should take it as a responsibility to educate people about respecting women and children,” he said, speaking to reporters. “I request the officials to encounter that nasty specimen immediately,” he said in a tweet.
