A teenager has been charged after an alleged serious sexual assault of a 17-year-old girl in Tollcross Park.
Police were called to the east end park having received reports of an incident late on Saturday night.
A 19-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged serious sexual assault and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today (Monday).
A statement released by the Greater Glasgow Police Division advised: "A 19-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged serious sexual assault on a 17-year-old girl within Tollcross Park, Glasgow on Saturday, 23 January, 2021.
"He is due to appear to Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 25 January, 2021.
"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
