Tokyo Olympics: Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ananya Panday and others congratulate Indian Men’s hockey team for winning bronze medal

On Thursday, the Indian men’s hockey team recreated history by defeating Germany to bag the bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Leaving people across India emotional, this marks India’s first Olympic medial in hockey after 41 years, since they won in 1980 Olympics in Moscow.

To this, celebs from the B-Town took to Twitter to hail the glorious victory. All thrilled by the resilience and skills of the Indian team, Shah Rukh Khan tweeted, “Wow!! Indian Men’s Hockey Team Congratulations. Resilience and skill at its peak. What an exciting match.”

Celebrating the comeback of the Indian men’s hockey team, Akshay wrote, “Congratulations Team India on rewriting history! An Olympic medal after 41 years! What a match, what a comeback!.”

Nimrat Kaur shared, “Huge congratulations to the men’s hockey team!!! Absolutely incredible.”

Ananya Panday was spotted all hearts for the Indian team. She reposted a picture of the team and added smiling emoticons followed by hearts syncronised in tricolours.
