Tokyo Olympics 2021 - LIVE!
Britain won three golds in just five hours on a Magic Monday in Tokyo.
All told, there were five medals for Team GB at the end of a glorious day that had echoes of London 2012’s Super Saturday and Rio 2016’s Sensational Sunday.
After catching fire on day three, Britain’s Olympians have more medal ambitions on day four.
Team GB’s Georgia Taylor-Brown claimed an impressive silver in the women’s triathlon after fighting back from a puncture on the bike in dreadful weather conditions at Odaiba Marine Park.
Following Adam Peaty’s gold on Monday, there was more brilliant success in the pool with Tom Dean and Duncan Scott claiming Britain’s first Olympic swimming one-two since 1908 in the men's 200m freestyle final.
On a day of shocks, Naomi Osaka was eliminated in the last 16 of the women’s tennis singles competition following an upset by world no41 Marketa Vondrousova and American gymnast Simone Biles withdrew from the women's team final.
Team GB are in fifth place in the medal table with four golds, while the United States lead the way from hosts Japan.
