Tokyo Olympics 100m final live stream: When and how to watch men’s race for FREE on TV in UK today

The showpiece event of the Tokyo Olympics - and any Games - is the men’s 100-metre final, which takes take today.

Without Usain Bolt, it promises to be the most open race in years. USA's Trayvon Bromell was the favourite heading into the Games but missed out on the final after a poor semi-final showing.

So USA’s hopes lie with Fred Kerley and Ronnie Baker, though Canada’s Andre de Grasse - a bronze medallist in Rio - will likely be their strongest opponent.

Great Britain’s hopes are with Zharnel Hughes.

When is the men’s 100m final?

The men’s 100-metre final is scheduled to take place at 1.50pm BST today, Sunday, August 1, 2021.

How to watch men’s 100m final?

TV channel: BBC will be broadcasting live for free on terrestrial TV, with coverage for the showpiece event starting at 12.20pm BST.

Eurosport also have the rights to the Games in the UK, with their live coverage beginning at 12:10pm.

Live stream: TV licence fee-payers can stream the action live via the BBC iPlayer. Eurosport subscribers can stream the events via Eurosport Player.

Roku users can watch iPlayer using a Roku streaming device or Roku-powered TV.
