Tokyo Midtown Yaesu complex to open in 2022

Mitsui Fudosan Co. will open Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, a large complex featuring office and commercial facilities, in the Yaesu district of Chuo Ward, Tokyo, at the end of August 2022, the property developer has announced.

Located in front of JR Tokyo Station's Yaesu South Exit, the complex will connect directly to Tokyo Station via an underground mall. It will occupy 1.5 hectares and comprise a skyscraper about 240 meters high and another 41-meter high building.

The top 39th to 45th floors of the skyscraper will house a Bulgari Hotel, a luxury hotel chain opening its first hotel in Japan. The first to fourth floors of the building will house a public elementary school.

This is the third large-scale redevelopment project in Tokyo under the name of "Tokyo Midtown," following Tokyo Midtown in Minato Ward and Tokyo Midtown Hibiya in Chiyoda Ward.
