Tokyo logged 275 new cases of the novel coronavirus Tuesday, the metropolitan government said. The daily figure has been below 300 for three consecutive days.
The number of the seriously ill was 77 as of Tuesday, up by one from the previous day.
The moving average of the new daily cases in the past seven days came to 318.3, or 86.1 percent of the figure for the previous seven days, 369.7.
