Toilets closed at notorious Tog Hill dogging site after rise in 'anti-social' behaviour

Toilets at a notorious dogging site have been closed following a rise in 'anti-social' behaviour.

Council chiefs say the Tog Hill public loos, near the A420 between Yate and Bath, will be shut until 'further notice'.

The location was named by a swingers website as one of the most popular dogging hotspots across the South West last year.

South Gloucestershire Council's StreetCare team posted on Facebook this morning announcing the closure.

They said: "The public toilets at Tog Hill car park will be closed from 9:00 this morning until further notice. The closure is necessary due to ongoing problems with anti-social behaviour.

"We are sorry for any inconvenience."

The move has been hailed as a 'massive step in the right direction' by the owner of a snack bar at Tog Hill.

"Hopefully a long term solution will be sorted soon."

Under lockdown rules, no one is allowed to travel long distance for their exercise and everyone has been urged to stay home.
