Toilet-licking 'influencer' with coronavirus 'disowned' parents because they don't have followers

A social media 'influencer' who licked a toilet bowl and was later reportedly hospitalised with coronavirus claimed that they disowned their parents because they didn't have enough followers.

The American, who was branded "scum" by Piers Morgan and demanded he didn't receive any medical care after the stunt, filmed himself crying in hospital after contracting the virus.

Larz, 21, also appeared on Dr Phil last year after finding initial online 'fame' by licking ice cream and putting it back in supermarket fridges.

The influencer left the host stunned when he told him that he had disowned his family because they were "irrelevant" and didn't have enough followers.

"I don't talk to my family," he said and when asked why not, he replied: "They're irrelevant."

He continued: "None of them have followers, if they got rich I'd probably talk to them."

A shocked Dr Phil asked: "Hang on a second, did you say that you don't talk to your family because they don't have followers?"

"If they had followers they'd be here right now," Larz replied gesturing to the studio.

Dr Phil probed: "You're talking about your mother?"

"I mean, my mum has more followers than my sister," the influencer responded.

The bemused host asked: "That's your mother, why do you care if she has followers or not? It's your mother!"

He shrugged: "I don't know what I'd be talking to my mum about if she's not making me relevant."

When Dr Phil suggested that he just say hi to her, he responded: "I have a career and I'm famous - that's what happens when you get famous, you cut people off."

Staring at the camera in bemusement, Dr Phil then turned to him and exclaimed: "Seriously?!"

"Everyone's upset with it maybe because you guys aren't relevant either so you don't understand," he said, raised his eyebrows at the stunned audience.

"Maybe I'm just out of sync because I didn't know you until today," Dr Phil said, making him gasp. "I'm not trying to be rude I'm not big... I've had the same secretary for 45 years, I've had the same accountant for the same years. I don't cut people off."

The influencer's friend sitting next to him responded: "He's big-headed, he just likes to cut people off for fun."

Dr Phil responded: "You know what I've found, the bigger the star, the smaller the ego."

Larz insisted: "I don't have an ego!"
