Toddler rushed to hospital after horror fall from Motherwell flat window

A three-year-old girl was rushed to University Hospital Wishaw after falling from a flat window in a horror incident.

Emergency Services were called to Tulley Wynd in Motherwell after the toddler fell from a block of flats.

Police confirmed the incident occurred last night, just after 7pm.

The youngster is understood to be in a stable condition.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around 7.05pm on Saturday, 7 August, officers were called to a report of a three-year-old girl injured after falling from the window of a flat in Tulley Wynd, Motherwell.

“Police and Ambulance attended and she was taken to the University Hospital in Wishaw, where staff describe her condition as stable.

“Police enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident.”
