A two-year-old boy has suffered severe burns after 'acid' was poured on children's playground rides.
The youngster cried in pain after using a slide at the playground where police believe a culprit poured the mystery 'acidic substance' on the rides.
The toddler was taken to hospital with first and second-degree burns.
Police in Poland are investigating after the boy was seriously injured at the playground in Biery, a village in Silesian Voivodeship in the south of the country.
Investigators said the child had been taken to the playground by his mother shortly after midday, and started screaming after using the slide.

The victim's mother called police after the nasty incident, and officers have confirmed they believe the acidic substance had been deliberately poured not just on the slide - but also on other rides, including a carousel.
The little boy was taken to the Paediatric Hospital in nearby city Bielsko-Biala, where doctors treated him for first- and second-degree burns as a result of contact with the unspecified acidic substance.
