A toddler found wandering in his nappy on a busy main street was comforted in a Greggs as a hunt was launched for his parents.
The youngster was spotted in Uddingston, Lanarkshire, by shocked passers-by who took him into the shop
Police arrived at the scene yesterday morning and started an investigation into the incident.
The boy's parents were found after enquiries were made and he was taken home.
Police Scotland confirmed the family had been traced and no further action is to be taken.
The bizarre incident was highlighted on Facebook by a woman who said her partner had been caring for the tot.

She said: "My partner is currently in Greggs Uddingston Main Street with a lost toddler, around 3/4 years old found walking in a nappy on his own.
"Please can this be shared as they can't locate the parents. He's cuddled into my partner as he won't settle with anyone else. Currently waiting on the police arriving."
The woman later posted: "His parents have been found."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8.30am on Sunday, 19 June, police received a concern for person call. A member of the public contacted police to say they had seen a young child on his own in Main Street Uddingston.
"The child was located and showed no signs of distress. Officers carried out enquiries and liaised with partner agencies. The child was returned home to his parents."
