Toddler compared to Kate Middleton and Pocahontas due to her incredible thick hair

The mother of an 18-month-old with incredibly luscious locks said they can barely walk down the street without a random passer-by quizzing them about her hair.

Mia Wilkins, of Bridgwater, Somerset, said people think Alanah looks like Pocahontas, with her hair also reminding people of a lion's mane and the Duchess of Cambridge.

“Just two days after she was born I was having to put her hair in ponytails because it was just getting in the way," the 23-year-old told The Sun.

“We’ve never had her hair cut and she loves having her hair washed and brushed so we’ll just leave it and let her tell us if she wants it cut.

“People say that she looks like Kate Middleton and I can see the likeness, but others call her Pocahontas after the Disney character while others think her hair looks like a lion’s mane.”

The mum-of-one added: “I can’t walk down the street without someone stopping me and asking about the length of Alanah’s hair.”

Mia and her partner Emerzon Beecher, 25, put the child's impressive locks down to their genes.

In June, a baby born with floppy blond hair made headlines for being the spitting image of Boris Johnson - much to the shock of his dark haired parents.

Little David was just three months old, but already had a full head of striking blonde hair.

The resemblance to the Prime Minister was spotted immediately by nurses when David was born on March 1.

New mum, Tatiana Doronina, said: "David is like celebrity. Everyone is literally getting crazy about his look.

"People make the comparison to Boris the minute they see him."
