The Los Angeles Rams made their interest in running backs abundantly clear throughout the pre-draft process, hosting players such as Devin Singletary, Darrell Henderson and Justice Hill for visits. It wasn’t a smokescreen, either, because in the third round on Friday night, the Rams selected Henderson at No. 70 overall.
It was a shocking pick for a team with the highest-paid running back in football, and Twitter was both puzzled and excited about the pick.
