Drake has been all over the sports scene the past few months. He thoroughly got into the heads of the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference Finals. He sparred in Game 1 with the Warriors. He got roasted by those Warriors players after Game 2.
Just normal Drake stuff.
But before Drake took over the NBA Finals as a Raptors superfan, sports fans knew him as the man responsible for the Drake Curse. Apparently, Todd Gurley still views Drake that way.
In a video with Uninterrupted, Gurley was asked about the rappers he hangs out with Los Angeles. And in a follow-up question, he was asked if he had Drake’s number on his phone. Gurley said that he doesn’t because Drake is bad luck.
To back up the truth of the Drake Curse, the Rams running back mentioned a photo of Drake wearing a Rams jacket ahead of the Super Bowl. There was just one problem with that — the photo was fake.
That pic of Drake in a Rams jacket was a Photoshop job from NFL fans, but apparently, Gurley hadn’t heard that news.
