Todd Gurley has thigh bruise, uncertain for Sunday

The Los Angeles Rams released their first injury report of Week 6 on Wednesday and the first name on the list was a surprise. Todd Gurley was listed as a non-participant in practice with a quadriceps injury, which was unexpected.

Sean McVay said in his press conference that Gurley has a thigh bruise and is considered day-to-day. The Rams last played on Thursday night, which makes this injury even more concerning.

McVay wouldn’t say for sure that Gurley will play on Sunday.

Below is the full injury report, which also includes Aqib Talib (ribs) and Natrez Patrick (hamstring) as non-participants.

Brandin Cooks (concussion), Bryce Hager (shoulder) and Taylor Rapp (ankle) were all limited, as well.

McVay also wouldn’t commit to Talib playing against the 49ers. He didn’t miss any time during last week’s game, which made his inclusion on the injury report a surprise.
