Todd Gurley attends Ric Flair’s birthday party, Nature Boy asks about knee

Todd Gurley has built a relationship with wrestling legend Ric Flair over the years, having attended the University of Georgia. Their friendship has led Flair to support the Los Angeles Rams lately despite living in Atlanta and also backing the Falcons.

On Friday night, the two connected again in Atlanta for Flair’s surprise 70th birthday party. Gurley was in attendance, along with Charles Barkley, Triple H and Dennis Rodman, among others.

He shared pictures with Georgia kicker Rodrigo Blankenship and former Bulldogs running back Elijah Holyfield, who’s a draft hopeful this year.

When Gurley said hello and happy birthday to Flair, the Nature Boy couldn’t help but ask about Gurley’s knee. You can see their exchange at the 1:45 mark in the video below.

Gurley: “How you doing, man? Happy birthday.”

Flair: “You doing OK?” he asked, pointing to Gurley’s knee.

Gurley: “Yes sir, I’m doing great.”

After Gurley’s lack of involvement in the playoffs, it’s hard for anyone not to wonder how his knee is doing. Flair is no exception, checking in on his “main man” Gurley.
