Todd Cantwell tells Rangers fans 'you've made me fall in love all over again' as he hails support

Todd Cantwell has hailed the Rangers support for making him 'fall in love all over again'.

The former Norwich City midfielder had a tough time towards the end of his career at Carrow Road and has previously told the supporters at his former club that the 'truth will be known ' over his departure after describing his treatment towards the end of his time south of the border as 'mind blowing'.

Michael Beale swooped to land the midfielder during the January transfer window alongside Nicolas Raskin and he has been a shining light in the Light Blues side. His performances have been matched by numbers in recent weeks and he's quickly establishing himself as a fans' favourite in Govan.

He ended his first campaign with six goals and five assists with a number of man of the match displays along the way. He will no doubt be a massive player next season as part of the rebuild that will attempt to dethrone Celtic and Ange Postecoglou plus bid to reach the Champions League group stage once again with qualifiers not too far in the future.

Taking to Instagram, Cantwell uploaded a picture of the Rangers support applauding in the background and showing their support to him alongside the caption: "You’ve made me fall in love all over again.I will forever appreciate you all."

Rangers signed off the Scottish Premiership campaign on a high after a 3-0 win over St Mirren in Paisley.

Fashion Sakala netted a double before the returning Antonio Colak netted late on from a close-range header to round-off a comfortable afternoon for the Ibrox men.
