A further 2,012 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Scotland in the last 24 hours – including 189 in Ayrshire.
Latest data shows there are 803 Covid patients in Scottish hospitals. There are currently 54 people with the disease being treated in ICUs.
Meanwhile, there are 85 Covid patients in Ayrshire hospitals while fewer than five people are being treated for the disease in intensive care.
No new fatalities have been recorded in the last 24 hours meaning Scotland's death toll from the virus remains at 9,293.
However, 11,672 deaths have been registered in Scotland where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate up to Sunday, October 31.
In terms of Public Health Scotland's rolling seven-day infection rate per 100,000 population, Na h-Eileanan Siar has the highest rate in the country – at 630.2 as of Sunday, November 7.
The Orkney Islands has the second-highest infection rate at 598.2 while Clackmannanshire is third with 563.5.
In terms of Ayrshire's three local authorities, East Ayrshire has the highest rate of 518.1. North Ayrshire's rate stands at 338.2 while South Ayrshire's is 333.5.
Of the new cases reported in Ayrshire, 74 were in East Ayrshire, 57 in North Ayrshire and 56 in South Ayrshire.
