A further 950 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Scotland – with 99 in Ayrshire.
New figures – covering the last 24 hours – have been published this afternoon as part of a daily update by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland.
Two new deaths were recorded overnight meaning Scotland's death toll from the virus is now 7,690.
There are currently 128 Covid patients in Scottish hospitals – down 12 from yesterday.
A total of 12 people are receiving treatment for the disease in intensive care.
In terms of Public Health Scotland's rolling seven-day infection rate per 100,000 population, Dundee City has the highest rate in the country — at 316.8 as of Thursday, June 17.
South Ayrshire has the second-highest infection rate at 232.7 while City of Edinburgh is third with 210.3.
Of Ayrshire's remaining two local authorities, East Ayrshire has the highest rate of 168.8 compared to North Ayrshire's 145.5.
Of the 122 new cases of the virus recorded in Ayrshire, 38 were in East Ayrshire, 34 in North Ayrshire and 27 in South Ayrshire.

There are 20 Covid patients in Ayrshire hospitals – down three on yesterday – while fewer than five people are battling the disease in intensive care in the region.
A total of 3,591,638 people have received the first dose of a Covid vaccine and 2,535,803 have received their second dose.
