A further 345 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Scotland in the last 24 hours – including 16 in Ayrshire.
New data was published this afternoon as part of a daily update by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland.
No new deaths were recorded overnight, meaning Scotland's death toll from the virus stays at 7,661.
In terms of Public Health Scotland's rolling seven-day infection rate per 100,000 population, Moray still has the highest rate in the country — at 100.2 as of Sunday, May 9.
Glasgow City has the second highest rate of 58.3 while Clackmannanshire is third with 46.6.
Currently, 22 of Scotland's 32 council regions have an infection rate below the national average of 25.5.
Locally, only South Ayrshire (16.9) and North Ayrshire (25.2) sits below the Scottish average. East Ayrshire's current rate is 31.1.

Of the 16 new cases reported in Ayrshire, seven were from South Ayrshire, six were attributed to North Ayrshire and three to East Ayrshire.
There are currently 65 Covid patients in Scottish hospitals with fewer than five in the NHS Ayrshire & Arran health board region.
A total of six people are battling the disease in intensive care, again, with fewer than five in Ayrshire.
A total of 2,948,604 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 1,526,889 have received their second dose.
