Another 1,000 people in Scotland have been diagnosed with Covid within the last 24 hours.
Figures have been published by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland this afternoon as part of the national Covid-19 daily briefing, although no data has been received as yet from NHS Tayside which has been hit hard by the disease in recent weeks.
Nationally, there are 475 patients being treated in hospital which is down five from yesterday. There are currently 65 people with the disease being treated in ICUs.
The number of newly-reported positive coronavirus cases recorded by NHS Ayrshire & Arran is up 69 to 23,767.
Of the new cases, 36 were from North Ayrshire and 18 were attributed to East Ayrshire. There were 14 new cases in South Ayrshire.
A total of 341,015 positive tests have now been recorded from 2.431 million tests carried out since the start of the pandemic.
According to Public Health Scotland's rolling seven-day infection rate per 100,000 population, Midlothian has the highest infection rate in the country – at 263.0 as of Sunday, July 25.
The second-highest is North Lanarkshire which has a rate of 257.4 while East Lothian (244.7) has the third-highest rate.
Locally, East Ayrshire's infection rate stands at 185.0 with South Ayrshire at 163.2. North Ayrshire's is 132.6.
Currently, 21 of Scotland's 32 council regions have an infection rate below the national average of 195.1.

No further deaths in the last 24 hours which means 7,859 people have passed away since March 2020.
However, data from the National Records of Scotland (NRS) shows 10,268 deaths had been registered up to Sunday, July 18 where the disease was mentioned on the death certificate.
Across the UK, the figure is 129,158 as of last night.
There are 18 patients being treated for the disease in Ayrshire hospitals, which is the same as yesterday, and there are five in ICUs.
Nationally, a total of 3,998,627 people have received the first dose of a Covid vaccine and 3,092,102 have received their second dose.
