The Scottish Government today said that 1231 people have now tested positive for coronavirus in Lanarkshire.
It comes as 1249 patients across Scotland who tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) have died.
And 16 people in Lanarkshire were in intensive care at midnight, with confirmed or suspected coronavirus.
The Scottish test numbers for April 26 show a total of 49,157 people have been tested across the country.
Of these:
■ 38,833 tests were confirmed negative
■ 10,324 tests were positive
■ 1,249 patients who tested positive have died
■ 133 patients were in intensive care last night, with 131 of those having tested positive
■ There were 1735 people in Scottish hospitals with either confirmed or suspected COVID-19 (including those in intensive care).
