A further 2,527 Covid cases have been confirmed in Scotland within the last 24 hours.
Figures have been published by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland (PHS) this afternoon as part of the national Covid-19 daily briefing.
Nationally, there are 743 patients being treated in hospital which is down seven from yesterday. There are currently 60 people with the disease being treated in ICUs.
The number of newly-reported positive coronavirus cases recorded by NHS Ayrshire & Arran has increased by 173 to 50,171.
Of the new cases, 70 were from East Ayrshire, 55 in North Ayrshire and 47 attributed to South Ayrshire.
A total of 709,399 positive tests have now been recorded from 3.631 million tests carried out since the start of the pandemic.
According to Public Health Scotland's rolling seven-day infection rate per 100,000 population, Falkirk has the highest rate in the country – at 539.4 as of Monday, November 22.
Moray has the second-highest infection rate at 527.6 while Dumfries and Galloway is third with 526.0.
In terms of Ayrshire's local authorities, it is 361.0 in East Ayrshire and 359.4 in South Ayrshire. North Ayrshire's is 287.5.
A total of 17 of Scotland's 32 council regions have an infection rate below the national average of 375.3.

Another 17 deaths mean 9,495 people have passed away since March 2020.
However, data from the National Records of Scotland (NRS) shows 11,933 deaths had been registered up to Sunday, November 14 where the disease was mentioned on the death certificate.
Across the UK, the figure is 143,972 as of last night.
There are 70 patients being treated for the disease in Ayrshire hospitals, which is a reduction of one on yesterday, and fewer than five people in ICUs.
Nationally, a total of 4,340,162 people have received the first dose of a Covid vaccine; 3,940,314 are doubled jabbed and 1,469,423 have had their third dose/booster.
