'Today is the day to beat Arsenal' - These Newcastle United fans are in confident mood

The Premier League is back and Arsenal's campaign gets under way at St James' Park on Sunday afternoon.

Unai Emery takes his men to the north east for a clash with Newcastle United on Super Sunday.

And after Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham all got their campaigns off to winning starts, the Gunners fans will be looking for their team to follow suit.

But Emery has not named any of the new summer signings in his first starting lineup of the season, with Dani Ceballos, David Luiz, Nicolas Pepe and Gabriel Martinelli all on the bench.

He has, however, handed starts to young guns Reiss Nelson and Joe Willock, with Calum Chambers, who was on loan at Fulham last season, given the nod in central defence.

Newcastle United fans have been protesting against the club for much of the summer after Rafael Benitez was allowed to leave the club and Steve Bruce came in as his replacement.

Owner Mike Ashley remains in situ, despite trying to sell the club, much to the chagrin of the St James' Park faithful.

But there is suddenly an air of optimism around the Magpies supporters.

Newcastle v Arsenal: Premier League match preview

Having seen the two teams revealed, with Newcastle summer signing Joelinton handed his debut, and the Gunners' lineup, the Magpies supporters are in confident mood all of a sudden.

Here's what they have been saying on Twitter.

The Newcastle fans are confident, but how are the Gunners fans feeling?
