Today in MMA history: Floyd Mayweather TKOs Conor McGregor in 10th round of ‘The Money Fight’

“The Money Fight” took place Saturday, Aug. 27, 2017, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The event’s main card aired live on Showtime pay-per-view.

Floyd Mayweather came out of retirement for “The Money Fight” against Conor McGregor and earned his first stoppage since 2011. The boxing legend ended the fight by TKO in the 10th round, marking an end to his career with a perfect 50-0 record, eclipsing Rocky Marciano’s 49 wins without a loss.
