Today at 2 p.m.: Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx faces her challengers in a Sun-Times endorsement interview

It’s the most high-profile, closely watched race in the Chicago area this election season: the race for Cook County State’s Attorney.

The race is shaping up as a referendum on criminal justice reforms championed by incumbent Democrat Kim Foxx vs. the more traditional “law and order” approach of Republican challenger Patrick W. “Pat” O’Brien.

The Sun-Times Editorial Board will interviewed both candidates and Libertarian Brian Dennehy Thursday afternoon, and the conversation was streamed live here and on our Facebook page.
