Record crowds at Tocal Field Days

Pictures: Marina Neil

PERFECT sunny weather and people's "desperation" to get back out and enjoy events after COVID-19 helped bring record crowds to Tocal Field Days over the weekend.

More than 11,500 people attended on Saturday, up from 7,000 at the last event in 2019.

"It's been absolutely amazing," Event Manager Wendy Franklin said.

"It's been a little bit of a wait in the car park but once they're here the crowds seem to be really buoyant and happy."
