Toby Carvery set to join Uber Eats in Merseyside

A popular restaurant in Merseyside is set to join Uber Eats.

Toby Carvery, which currently has venues in Aigburth and Aintree, will be available for home delivery as the Uber Eats app signs one of the biggest pub partnerships in the UK.

By the end of the year, foodies will be able to enjoy the likes of Toby's popular beef or lamb Sunday roast dinners all from the comfort of their own home.

Although it is not yet confirmed the prices for the app, guests can typically choose from a daily selection of roasted meats including turkey or gammon and finish their meal off with an unlimited amount of freshly steamed and roasted vegetables, Yorkshire puddings, mac and cheese and beef dripping of plain roast potatoes.

Other options available include sizing up to a king's portion or a meat free carvery.

Uber is approaching its one billionth ride in the UK and has decided to continue to support the pub industry. This comes after the company offered discounted ride to pubs earlier this year following their reopening's after the national lockdown.

Steaks from Miller & Carter and delicious meals from Harvester and Browns will also be joining the app alongside Toby Carvery.

Executive lead on delivery at Mitchells and Butlers, Susan Martindale, said: “While we don’t think there’s anything better than the full dining in experience, we’re excited to partner with Uber Eats to expand our delivery offer so even more of our customers can enjoy their favourite pub and restaurant meals at home too.”
