Over the years, former Congressman Adam Kinzinger has been one of the most vocal critics of President Donald Trump and the Republican Party.
On more than one occasion, he has called them out for their lies and malpractices while alleging that the party has lost its essence and way under the leadership of Trump.
More recently, Adam Kinzinger has been making bold claims about his political inclinations during public discussions, highlighting that he currently aligns more with the Democratic Party than with the Republican Party.
On Monday, October 13, 2025, Adam Kinzinger once again took a dig at Donald Trump and the Republican Party, this time calling out their inaction in the Epstein files case. While openly criticising them for their actions surrounding the high-profile investigation and supporting the release of the files, Kinzinger wrote on social media platform X (formerly Twitter):
“Good morning to all who support releasing the Epstein files and opposing pardoning child sex traffickers. So not the GOP or Trump.”
Soon, Kinzinger’s comments section was filled with comments mostly from MAGA and Trump supporters who rushed to defend. While several of them called him out for not speaking with the same conviction about the Epstein files under the regimes of other Presidents, others asked him to “read the room”, referring to the “peace” that President Donald Trump had allegedly brought in the Middle East as a result of the ceasefire deal with Israel that prevents them from bombing innocent Palestinian civilians.
That said, Kinzinger’s comments were also met with positive response from a few who emphasised the need to hold the people responsible for these actions accountable. Surprisingly, there were a lot of GOP-aligned people who said that they wanted the release of the Epstein files, irrespective of who is named in them.
