To All The Boys: PS I Still Love You trailer teases new romantic dilemmas for Lara Jean

The latest trailer for Netflix’s sequel to hit rom-com To All The Boys I Loved Before teases a brand new love interest for heroine Lara Jean Covey.

To All The Boys 2: PS I Still Love You is based on the bestselling novel by Jenny Han and sees Lana Condor and Noah Centineo return as Lara Jean and her boyfriend Peter Kavinsky.

After finally getting together in the 2018 film, the sequel sees Lara Jean and Peter navigating life as a high school couple, ticking off milestones such as their first proper date and their first Valentine’s Day.

The trailer opens with a quick recap of the events of the first movie, with Lara’s younger sister Kitty explaining the unusual beginning to the relationship.

However, the letters that Lara Jean sent to her previous crushes in the first film still have the potential to cause havoc when John Ambrose (played by Jordan Fisher) returns to her life, causing her to question her relationship with Peter.

“I thought having a boyfriend meant the idea of other boys left your mind completely,” she says in the teaser clip.

Torn: Will Lara Jean choose John or Peter? (Bettina Strauss / Netflix)

“I didn’t want to be thinking about what might have been, but I was.”

Torn between Peter and John, Lara Jean finds herself leaning more on her sisters Kitty and Margot (played by Anna Cathcart and Janel Parrish) and her new confidant Stormy (Holland Taylor).

To All The Boys 2 won’t land on Netflix until February, but a third film is already in production. It will be based on Always and Forever, Lara Jean, the third instalment in Han’s book series.

To All The Boys 2: PS I Still Love You is available to stream on Netflix from February 12.
