TNT Sports sparks outage over Champions League final decision

TNT TNT Sports HBO Max Aston Villa Conference League Crystal Palace Europa League Paris St Germain UEFA Champions League the United Kingdom

Arsenal's Champions League final against Paris St Germain will not be broadcast free-to-air in the United Kingdom.
This marks the first time in the modern Champions League's 34-year history that the final will not be available free to air.
Rights-holder TNT Sports confirmed that viewers must subscribe to its platform or HBO Max to watch the match, as well as Aston Villa's Europa League final and Crystal Palace's Conference League final.
Access to TNT Sports typically costs between £25 and £34 a month, while HBO Max plans start from £4.99.
UEFA has reportedly expressed unease regarding TNT Sports' decision, though TNT declined to comment.
