The VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2025 concluded today with Team Liquid Brazil (also known as Team Liquid Visa) claiming a stunning victory over Shopify Rebellion in the grand finals.
A rematch of both the tournament’s upper finals and the 2023 Championship grand finals, the five-map series delivered standout displays of precision, chaos, unpredictability, and, above all, resilience. Team Liquid’s hard-fought redemption arc not only secured them the prestigious international VCT title but also halted Shopify’s pursuit of a three-peat, a milestone they had been targeting all season.
Here’s a full rundown of what happened in the VALORANT series.
First map on Haven
Both teams stuck to their tried-and-tested compositions on Haven, SR Gold’s map pick. Shopify opted for their signature Viper–Omen setup to gain a defensive edge, while Team Liquid ran Breach and Sova to support their aggressive playstyle.
As expected, the map featured intense back-and-forth action, with the score remaining neck and neck for most of the match. In the end, SR Gold clinched three consecutive rounds to secure the series’ first match with a 13–11 finish.

Second map on Pearl
On Pearl, both teams continued to trade rounds, keeping the score tight and the fans on edge. Dodonut and meL delivered standout performances for Shopify, while Bizerra and Joojina led the charge for Team Liquid.
However, the map ultimately swung in Team Liquid’s favor, as they closed it out with four consecutive defensive round wins.

Third map on Bind
Bind shifted the tempo, with Shopify taking control early and dominating the first half on defense. Team Liquid struggled to break through their setup, backed by Chamber (Noia), Viper (Sarah), and disciplined patience. The half ended 9–3 in Shopify’s favor.
Once the sides swapped, the dynamic flipped completely. Team Liquid unleashed their aggressive style and razor-sharp mechanics, rallying with six consecutive round wins to tie the score at 9–9. Daiki, Jelly, and Isa delivered clutch performances on defense, and the Brazilian squad completed a stunning 13-10 comeback. Shopify managed to secure only one round on their attack half.

Fourth map on Sunset
With Team Liquid holding championship point, Shopify needed to respond—and the American superstars delivered. They dominated the first half on defense, putting Team Liquid at a significant 8–4 deficit.
This time, Team Liquid couldn’t replicate their comeback momentum from Bind. Shopify’s Noia and meL won key aim duels, and the rest of the roster executed flawlessly to maintain control for a comfortable 13–6 victory.

Fifth map on Split
The final map played out exactly as expected, filled with tightly contested rounds, unpredictable moments, and chaotic exchanges. Although Team Liquid seized the initial momentum, the meL-led Shopify Rebellion quickly rallied, closing the gap 5-7 by the end of the first half.
In the second half, however, Team Liquid took full control. Shopify came close to equalizing at 8–9 but struggled to hold the sites and adapt to Liquid’s strategies in the crucial closing rounds.

The map concluded 13–8, crowning Team Liquid as the champions of the VCT Game Changers Championship 2025.
