TK Maxx is a treasure trove of bargains, there's no doubt about that - but one shopper must have got the deal of the month.
She had picked up a £12 watch, which was yellow-ticketed as part of final reductions, and was left gobsmacked when discovered how much it was retailing for elsewhere, reports Manchester Evening News.
Known for selling designer brands at knock-down prices, it can feel like pot luck when you go bargain hunting in TK Maxx; they don't have your shoe size, the item is a bit damaged, or you can't find the matching pillowcase.
However, lucky customer Ashley Robertson hit the jackpot with her purchase.
Posting her impressive find on Facebook, she showed off her new timepiece, which happened to be a rose gold-coloured Juicy Couture watch.
She was stunned to find that the watch originally cost £235 on SecretSales.co.uk but is currently reduced to £141.
Based on the original price, it means Ms Robertson saved a tidy £223 at TK Maxx.
We also spotted the same design selling for a slightly cheaper reduced price of £79 on the Twenty Six Fashion website.

The best bargains often go quickly and can sometimes be limited stock - especially in the chain's final clearance sale.
Posting on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook group, Ms Robertson said: “Best bargain ever today at Tk Maxx! Absolutely gorgeous.”
She was soon congratulated by fellow bargain-hunters who praised her for the cheap find.
One person said: “This is lush. I never think to look at the watches when we are in.”
