TK Maxx reopens website for orders and deliveries

TK Maxx has reopened its website.

The high street favourite closed orders and browsing on TKMaxx.com on March 26, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It also shut its stores, to halt spreading the virus.

Although it's stores remain closed for now, shoppers can order clothing, skincare and beauty items online from today, Thursday, April 30.

However, there is a limit on how many shoppers can place orders each day.

Customers can still browse the website if the daily order capacity has been met, but they'll need to come back the following day to place their order.

"Our online store is open and ready to take orders again, and we're hoping it won't be too long before we can re-open our stores. While we’re delighted to be taking new orders again online, our top priority is the safety and wellbeing of our associates and customers, so we’ve made some significant changes to the way we work so we can continue to operate our business safely.

"We’ve also adopted contactless delivery to protect the safety of our delivery drivers, and you, our lovely customers." a statement on the site reads.

The retailer has also implemented social distancing rules in its warehouses and has provided staff with cleaning equipment to ensure they stay safe while working.
