Maddison Levi has remained with Australia's squad in Europe and is gunning to overcome a knee injury and line up in Bordeaux's world rugby sevens series finale.
Australia's stunning win in Spain pushed them two points clear of arch rivals New Zealand, who they upset in the semi-finals.
Victory in France, where competition begins on Friday, would guarantee them their first world championship since 2022.
Try-scoring ace Levi, on Tuesday named for the fifth successive year in a three-person player of the year shortlist, watched her side's stunning Spanish triumph while wearing a knee brace after suffering an injury in the opening game.

Despite being hobbled, she couldn't resist jumping for joy after her side's semi-final and finals victories, while there was more celebrating when the men's side also claimed gold on the same day.
A Rugby Australia spokesperson told AAP that Levi, who has a competition-best 62 tries this season, has remained in camp and will be given every chance to prove her fitness for the season finale.
The 2016 Olympic champions had lost five consecutive finals games to New Zealand but are now in the box seat to claim a fourth world series title.
The men, who entered the Spanish leg in danger of dropping out of the top eight and missing qualification for next year's series, won their first leg since November 2022.

They now sit third, eight points back from leaders South Africa and just four points behind second-placed Argentina.
Australia captain Henry Hutchison, who was named player of the final, was also shortlisted for player of the year honours while former Waratahs talent Harry Wilson, the son of former Wallabies captain David, has been nominated for rookie of the year.
"I feel like the group is in a really good place. We know we're not consistently the best in the world but we're knocking on the door," three-time Olympian Hutchison said.
"There's been a huge amount of growth from last season to this season."
