The Tennessee Titans have placed wide receiver Cameron Batson on injured reserve as of Wednesday.
He appeared shaken up after a play during 11-on-11’s during Monday’s practice, as reported by The Tennessean’s Erik Bacharach.
Batson won an award this offseason, and served as serious competition for fellow wideout Darius Jennings for a spot at the bottom of the depth chart for a spot on the final 53-man roster.
With the injury, the probability of Batson seeing action for the Titans this season drops tremendously.
It also likely makes Jennings all but a lock for the final roster heading into the regular season.
