After getting off to a good start in Week 15, the Tennessee Titans collapsed in the second half, leading to a 19-13 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
Tennessee actually looked competent on offense in the first two quarters and staked itself to a 13-3 lead going into the half, but things went downhill from there.
The Titans failed to score a single point in the second half, and three of their four turnovers – all of which Pittsburgh turned into points – came in the final two quarters of action.
Tennessee’s defense was sensational once again, but the effort didn’t hold up with the offense playing so poorly. The fact that the defense only allowed 19 points was particularly impressive considering the offense handed the Steelers the football in Titans territory three times.
