Titans waive DL Dee Liner

The Tennessee Titans have parted ways with defensive lineman Dee Liner as of Tuesday.

The 6-foot-3, 334-pounder was one of 10 players signed to a reserve/futures contract on January 2 with the team. Wide receivers Roger Lewis and Devin Ross, who were both signed to a reserve/futures contract were waived by the Titans earlier in the offseason as well.

Liner initially signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent after the 2018 NFL Draft.

He was placed on the team’s practice squad, but was ultimately released on Sept. 4.

Liner played college football at Alabama, before transferring to Arkansas State in February of 2015 to finish out at Arkansas State. On his college career, Liner recorded 61 tackles, 15 for loss, one sack and one pass defensed.

The Titans agreed to terms with former LSU defensive lineman Frank Herron on Wednesday.
