The Tennessee Titans and San Francisco 49ers will meet for a Week 16 matchup at Nissan Stadium on “Thursday Night Football.”
The Titans are looking to get back on track following a Week 15 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Titans can clinch the AFC South this week with a win and a loss by the Indianapolis Colts, who face the Arizona Cardinals.
Tennessee has an opportunity to re-claim the No. 1 seed in the conference as well, but will need a win and losses by the Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots.
The 49ers come into this game sitting as one of the hottest teams in the NFL after having won five of their last six games, including a Week 15 win over the Atlanta Falcons.
San Fran is in third place in the NFC West. While the division is still up for grabs, the Niners’ best chance of making the postseason comes in the wild-card race, where they are currently sixth.
