Titans’ updated 2024 NFL draft position going into Week 10

With the Tennessee Titans on track to miss the playoffs once again in 2023, it’ll be worth monitoring where they sit in the 2024 NFL draft the rest of the season.

After falling to 3-5 following a 20-16 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 9, the Titans currently sit in the No. 10 draft slot going into Week 10, according to Tankathon.

A loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week would move the Titans up at least one spot, as the Bucs sport a 3-5 record, also. The Green Bay Packers and Denver Broncos are 3-5, as well.

Barring the Titans finding an in-house solution for the long haul or signing or trading for one next offseason, left tackle will be at the top of the list of priorities for Tennessee going into the 2024 NFL draft.

Unfortunately, landing a surefire franchise left tackle at No. 10 might be difficult this year, as guys like Joe Alt and Olu Fashanu are likely to go before Tennessee’s current pick.

As far as in-house solutions are concerned, we can cross Andre Dillard and Nicholas Petit-Frere off the list. Dillard has been a disaster and NPF wasn’t good before suffering what is reportedly a season-ending injury.

The Titans should be giving Peter Skoronski a look on the left side next, but past comments from head coach Mike Vrabel suggest that might not happen.

Knowing that, Dillon Radunz should be the next man up after playing well in relief duty this year. If that doesn’t work out, it’ll be Jaelyn Duncan’s turn to get a look.
