Titans, Treylon Burks agree to terms on rookie contract

The Tennessee Titans and their 2022 first-round pick, wide receiver Treylon Burks, have reportedly agreed to terms on his rookie contract.

According to ESPN’s Field Yates, Burks and the Titans have agreed on a fully guaranteed four-year, $14.36 million deal. As is the case with all contracts for first-round picks, his contract carries a fifth-year team option.

Burks is the fifth 2022 draft pick to ink his rookie deal. The others include four of Tennessee’s Day 3 picks, including running back Hassan Haskins, wide receiver Kyle Philips, defensive back Theo Jackson and linebacker Chance Campbell.

Picks who have yet to sign include cornerback Roger McCreary, quarterback Malik Willis, offensive tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere and tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo.

Burks recently went through three-day rookie minicamp, where he struggled on Day 1 but was able to recover and have a full Day 2.

The rookie will have a lot of pressure on him in 2022, as the Titans will hope he can replace A.J. Brown sooner rather than later.
