Titans Thursday practice report: Injury updates, debuts, more

The Tennessee Titans hit the practice field on Thursday and there were a few notable things to mention on top of the fact that five players were sidelined.

Bear in mind, team period is not open to the media, so details after individual drills aren’t available. Before we get to those, here are some assorted practice notes:

Offensive lineman and 2021 second-round pick, Dillon Radunz, who returned form the PUP list earlier this week, was practicing once again. Radunz saw some work as a right tackle, at least in the individual period.

Radunz figures to start the season as a backup, giving Tennessee another option at both guard and tackle. However, with current starting right tackle Chris Hubbard being anything but set in stone, there’s an opportunity for Radunz to work his way up the ladder to a starting job at some point.

Three new Titans made their practice debuts, with edge rusher Trevis Gipson, kicker Nick Folk and cornerback Kindle Vildor all taking part. We’d assume practice squad kicker Cade York was out there, also, even though he was not mentioned by reporters. York was in the locker room earlier and spoke to the media.

Gipson, who was wearing No. 91, worked with the outside linebackers and did a lot of work with coach Ryan Crow, as noted by ESPN’s Turron Davenport.

Now, a look at some injury updates and the list of players who did not practice for whatever reason.
