Titans TE Delanie Walker hosts fifth annual football camp

Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker is well known for his contributions on the field, but he’s also using his talent to help the next generation.

This week, the pass-catcher hosted his fifth annual youth football camp. In addition to helping young hopefuls brush up on their skills, Walker also tackled other issues like gun storage, which a fan noted on Twitter.

It was hosted at Pomona High School in Pomona, California. Activities primarily revolve around fundamental skills, learning drills and perfecting technique.

Walker’s camp takes place once a year, and is free to attend. In 2018, it attracted over 170 eager participants between the ages of 8-14.

Here’s a look at some photos from the event.

Walker has been recovering from a leg injury sustained in Week 1 of last season, and has made steady progress throughout the offseason to get healthy enough to take the field again.

The Titans will hope to have Walker back at full force when the regular season kicks off against the Cleveland Browns on Sept. 8.
