Quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs accomplished the ultimate goal during the 2019 season, defeating the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Championship Game and taking home the Lombardi Trophy over the San Francisco 49ers.
Now, the quarterback is ready to lead his team to the Promised Land yet again.
Obviously, the Titans don’t want to see that happen as they look to make another playoff run themselves.
So on Saturday when Mahomes tweeted “let’s run it back,” Titans offensive lineman Taylor Lewan had something to say about it.
“Hey… let’s not,” he replied.
The Titans have some important decisions to make this offseason and could look a bit different when they get back to the field in 2020 — but they’ll still be aiming to find a way to make it one game beyond where they did last year.
And hey, didn’t Steve Hutchinson tell Lewan to stay off of Twitter?
