Titans stay in top 10 of Touchdown Wire’s power rankings

The Tennessee Titans’ Week 13 loss to the Cleveland Browns was an abject disaster. Ugly games like that have been a far-too-common occurrence for a team that has Super Bowl aspirations in 2020.

Despite getting the doors blown off of them by the Browns, the Titans remain in the top 10 of Touchdown Wire’s power rankings going into Week 14. Tennessee fell three spots from No. 7 to No. 10.

Here’s a look at the entire top 10 from Touchdown Wire’s power rankings:

1. Kansas City Chiefs (11-1)

2. New Orleans Saints (10-2)

3. Green Bay Packers (9-3)

4. Pittsburgh Steelers (11-1)

5. Buffalo Bills (9-3)

6. Cleveland Browns (9-3)

7. Indianapolis Colts (8-4)

8. Los Angeles Rams (8-4)

9. Seattle Seahawks (8-4)

10. Tennessee Titans (8-4)

As far as the Titans’ playoff prospects are concerned, they are still very good.

Tennessee sits in the No. 4 spot in the conference and remains in first place in the AFC South thanks to having the advantage in division record over the Indianapolis Colts.

If the Titans can win their remaining two divisional games against the Jacksonville Jaguars (Week 14) and Houston Texans (Week 17), they’ll clinch the tiebreaker and can win the division even with the same record as the Colts.

Tennessee also has a slightly easier slate of games remaining than Indianapolis.

The Titans’ last four opponents, the Jags, Lions, Packers and Texans, have a combined record of 19-29, while the Colts’ final four, the Raiders, Texans, Steelers and Jags, are 23-25.
