Titans sign former Packers DB Ibraheim Campbell

The Tennessee Titans announced the signing of former Green Bay Packers defensive back Ibraheim Campbell on Friday.

Campbell, claimed off of waivers by the Packers in November of 2018, played 10 games in Green Bay over the last two seasons. He played 293 snaps at linebacker and safety and another 174 snaps on special teams, tallying 32 total tackles.

A draft pick of the Cleveland Browns, Campbell found a home with former Browns coach Mike Pettine in Green Bay. Pettine trusted him as a hybrid linebacker/safety in his various subpackages.

Campbell tore his ACL late in the 2018 season but returned for a second season with the Packers in 2019. He started the season on the PUP list and was activated in November, eventually playing in seven games.

Campbell joins tight end Jimmy Graham (Bears), linebacker Blake Martinez (Giants), offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga (Chargers), outside linebacker Kyler Fackrell (Giants), linebacker B.J. Goodson (Browns), fullback Danny Vitale (Patriots), receiver Geronimo Allison (Lions) and offensive tackle, Jason Spriggs (Bears) as free-agent departures from Green Bay this offseason.

The team’s only remaining free agents are cornerback Tramon Williams (UFA), offensive tackle Jared Veldheer (UFA), receiver Ryan Grant (UFA) and fullback Malcolm Johnson (RFA).
