Titans showing interest in CB Amik Robertson, DT Ross Blacklock

The Tennessee Titans have met with a host of prospects ahead of the 2020 NFL Draft — which is now just two days away — as they prepare to add to their roster before the upcoming season.

That includes Louisiana Tech cornerback Amik Robertson, who the team also met with during the NFL Combine. Robertson has also met with the New York Jets, Chicago Bears, Atlanta Falcons and Las Vegas Raiders, according to Justin Melo of Draft Wire.

He did make it for an in-person visit with the Philadelphia Eagles before the restrictions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic were put in place, but several planned visits, like one with the New Orleans Saints, didn’t happen.

The 5-foot-8, 187-pounder started all 38 games he played for the Bulldogs, posting 23 tackles for loss, 48 passes defensed and 14 interceptions. He’s projected to be taken in the third round and could be an option to fill the Titans’ need for a slot corner.

The Titans have also taken an interest in TCU defensive tackle Ross Blacklock, who has had 15 video conferences between Tennessee, the Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, Carolina Panthers and Seattle Seahawks.

Ross is expected to be taken by a team in the first or second round and would be a solid addition to the Titans’ defensive line.
