Tennessee Titans safety Kevin Byard was one of the Dean Pees’ most important players on defense in 2018.
With the game-changing impact he seemed to keep with him all season long, it’s no surprise Byard has received national recognition for his efforts.
When Pro Football Focus released its Top 101 list for the 2018 season, the network ranked Byard at No. 45 overall.
Per PFF, Byard posted a 55.8 passer rating when targeted, and an overall grade of 88.4.
Byard finished out the season with a combined 90 tackles, two sacks, four interceptions and eight passes defensed.
Originally drafted by Tennessee at No. 64 overall in the 2016 NFL Draft, Byard has posted a combined 235 tackles, three sacks, 12 interceptions and 28 passes defensed over three seasons.
