Titans safety Johnathan Cyprien receives key to the city of North Miami Beach for community efforts

Tennessee Titans safety Johnathan Cyprien may not have been able to make an impact on the field in recent times due to injury, but he has been a force off of it.

Cyprien, a North Miami Beach native, was awarded the key to the city on Tuesday for his efforts in bringing awareness to sports and physical activity as a youth football ambassador.

Cyprien’s work has come mainly through his CypSquad At Risk Youth Foundation, which he founded in 2015. From football camps, to giveaways to food drives, Cyprien has done it all.

To receive such recognition from a city that means so much to him is an honor for Cyprien.

“North Miami Beach has given so much to me,” he said in a report by TitansOnline. “It’s important for me to show young athletes in my hometown that they can achieve their dreams.”
